What does LEX Reception send to Filevine?

The caller's name, phone number, email address, and intake notes captured during the call are passed through to Filevine and mapped to the fields required by your chosen actions.

Do I need a Filevine account?

Yes. An active Filevine account is required, along with your LEX Reception and Zapier accounts.

Can the integration handle both new and existing contacts and projects?

Yes. The Find or Create Contact and Find or Create Project actions will search for existing records first and only create new ones if no match is found — keeping your data clean and avoiding duplication.

Do I need any technical knowledge to set it up?

 No. Zapier is designed to be configured without coding. Our team can also assist you with setup if needed.

Does data sync both ways?

No. Data flows in one direction — from LEX Reception through to Filevine.
